Terms of use

AI Compute Tracker (aicomputetracker.com) publishes information about the price and supply of AI compute. Nothing on the site, in its data files, feeds or embeds is an offer to sell or buy compute or any financial instrument, a solicitation, a recommendation, or investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Check any figure with its source before you rely on it. What the site collects about visitors is set out in the privacy notice.

Rental prices are posted list prices, read from providers’ public pages and APIs on the dates shown beside them and normalized to US dollars per GPU-hour (per chip-hour for TPUs and Trainium). They are not transactions, executable quotes or offers: what a provider charges you can differ with region, configuration, availability, commitment and its own terms. Marketplace prices are listed asks, not clearing prices. Values marked est come from secondary sources.

Forward curves are implied from Kalshi event-contract prices. They are indicative market-implied levels, not quotes: nobody offers compute at them. The methodology sets out what each kind of number measures.

The site and its data are provided as they are and as available, without any warranty, express or implied, including of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose. Every figure carries its own date, and sources change without notice. When we find a material error in our own numbers or claims, we correct it and log it on the corrections page.

Pages, data files, feeds, badges and embeds can change, pause or be withdrawn at any time, for example while a source’s terms are reviewed. The open-data endpoints follow the versioning policy on the open-data page; nothing else on the site promises a stable shape.

The site’s own text and data compilations are licensed CC BY 4.0; reuse them with the attribution “AI Compute Tracker (aicomputetracker.com), CC BY 4.0; includes data from Epoch AI (epoch.ai), CC BY 4.0”. The licence covers the site’s own work, never the third-party source data inside it. Third-party source data — such as Kalshi market data, Vast.ai marketplace data, and providers’ list prices — remains subject to its sources’ terms.

Each JSON download names the sources its data comes from and the licence for each one. Across the site, the sources fall into these groups:

• CC BY 4.0 (the source publishes this data under that licence; reuse it on the source’s terms, with the credit each payload names): Epoch AI.
• CC BY 4.0 (the site restates single facts in its own words, each beside a dated link to its source: CC BY 4.0 covers the site’s wording, and the cited sources’ text, tables and images keep their own terms): Public disclosures and reporting.
• Third-party terms apply (the site’s licence does not cover this data; the source’s own terms govern its reuse): Kalshi (KalshiEX LLC), Vast.ai, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Vultr, GPU cloud pricing pages, RunPod, Voltage Park, GetDeploying, AIMultiple, Model API pricing pages and Chip vendor documentation.
• Not licensed for redistribution (no download carries data from these sources): Ornn and CME Group.

Each source below keeps its own terms. The site credits it with the line shown and links its terms where it has a single terms document. Names and trademarks belong to their owners; using them here identifies a source and implies no endorsement or affiliation.
