How to read the stated values
- contract value: the value of a signed contract as a party or a filing states it.
- ceiling: a maximum the parties announced (shown as “up to”), often tied to milestones.
- investment: a planned or committed investment, which is not the price of capacity.
- press-reported: a figure from press reports that no party has confirmed.
- estimate: an aggregate or estimated scope, not a purchase price.
Capacity is the power or unit count a source states; vaguer wording (“more than a gigawatt”) is left out of the column and kept in the deal’s details. The sites these deals build are in the buildout ledger, the markets that price their compute on the markets page, and the full ledger is open data at /deals.json.
